Join us for Part 2 of Steven Conlon’s discussion on the mind and motive of violent criminals on Tuesday, August 10a 11am at Beth Sholom Temple. Mr. Conlon is an Instructor at the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit at Quantico. He will refer to familiar case studies (like the Sniper case that gripped our area) to focus on the mind of the criminal before, during and after the crime.

Join us and meet honored guest, former UN Ambassador, Richard Shifter, who will help us understand the politics and voting blocs in the United Nations. He will discuss why it seems Israel and the United States are often outnumbered and outvoted and talk about his work to change the dynamics in the UN, one country at a time. He is a terrific speaker!A light bagel lunch will be provided following the program.

Dinner and Musical "Chicago" at Riverside Dinner Theater
Sunday, October 17- 6th Anniversary Celebration!! 1pm- 5:30pm
Please join us as we celebrate the Savvy Seniors’ 6th Anniversary with our traditional trip to Riverside Dinner Theater! This widely acclaimed musical, depicting the shady side of life in the Windy City during the 1920s, has become an icon of the American Musical scene. Cost: $47 per person, $94 per couple and includes the meal, tax and tip and the show. Alcoholic beverages are extra. Season tickets can be used for this show.
